Vintage Stoneware Snuff Bottle/Original Goat Hair SCHMALZLER REGENSBURG Germany

For your consideration, a nice old snuff bottle from Germany. It is beautiful salt glazed stoneware with a very interesting cork top. The top is authentic billy goat beard inserted into the top of the cork. The bottle itself without the cork top stands 3 1/2" and it is 2 3/4" wide at its widest point. It is 7/8" deep. The bottle has a beautiful decorative front featuring  an old man using snuff and lots of cobalt writing on the back. The bottle reads Schmalzlerfranzl on front. The back reads Aechtbayrischer Brasil Schmalzer von Gebr. Bernard A.G. Regensburg. The bottle is in great condition, No chips, No cracks, No dings, No repairs… The hair is, well, hairy. NOTE: The previous owner said this bottle is supposedly filled with snuff, I have not attempted to open it since old corks can get so fragile with age. I leave that to the next owner to either open it or not.
