Beautiful rare early counter dispensing jar for "Swift's Soap" that would have seen at your local Drugstore, Apothecary or General store in the 1920's!
Remarkably clean crisp example with smooth rims on the jar & lid!
The glass itself is crystal clear showing no haze or sick glass whatsoever!
Lettering is heavily embossed!
No chips, no cracks, no hairlines!
Remarkable for a jar like this used in a commercial setting that often "when found" is well beaten up!
The "original" lid fits flawlessly as it should! No marriage of jar & lid here!
The green paint used to "highlight" the upraised lettering is original to this jar & NOT added later!
