    Description

    This sale is for a vintage German "BG & I Style" 16 gauge capper / decapper. Made of brass and cast iron, this tool has survived well having been manufactured around 1880. There is an extra, original decapping pin threaded into the base. It is in excellent mechanical condition with no broken parts and it retains 90% of the original green paint. The wood handle has a 1/2" hairline stress crack from being pressed onto the steel stem and the black paint finish is 100% complete.
