Here we have an unknown snuff or medicine tin. Solid metal construction. There are no manufacturer or identifying markings on this. Measures 1 1/8" diameter X 1/4" thick. Tight and smooth seal. No previous owner engravings or markings. This came from my great grandfathers estate. He had collected many Civil War items and MANY artifacts dating well beyond that.
