    MOUNT YOUR ALTERNATOR CLOSE IN - IN FRONT OF THE HEAD
    For Sale is a new Mid Mount Alternator Bracket kit for a Small Block Chevy with a Long Water Pump and pulleys. This bracket allows you to use a long water pump and pulleys with your Fuelie (Camel Hump) Heads. You do not need the bolt hole in the head that only came on the later model heads. This kit positions the alternator in front and below the valve cover rather than above or alongside it. This tucks your alternator neatly in front of the head and in close to your motor.
    This bracket is machined from 3/8" 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum. It has a beautiful brushed satin finish.
    Use
    a 43 1/8" belt (Gates #7425)
    Includes the following stainless steel hardware:
    Socket Head Bolts w/washers to mount back bracket to water pump
    Socket Head Bolts
    w/washers to attach bracket to water pump
    Socket Head Bolt w/washers and locking nut to mount alternator to bracket
    Socket Head Bolt w/washer for belt adjuster
