Condition: An estate item. The family states this was brought back from a cross-country road trip in the 1960’s. How much older it may be than that is unknown to me. It’s been hanging on their family room wall as a display since then. Appears to be in great shape, as you can see… the stone is firmly attached, and the hanging loop and bison/horse hair are intact. In faint pencil writing on the stone is “CHAMBERLAIN SO. DAK.” From the tip of the hair to the end of the hanging loop is 21 ½”. From the top of the stone to the end of the handle is 13”.
