This auction is for a   Motorola / General Dynamics R2670B  which has just been recently calibrated and tested.
Motorola initially produced and developed this service monitor but the test equipment division was sold to General Dynamics and re-labeled as such.
Unit covers up to 1Ghz for FM , AM  analog modulation as well as P25/IMBE and Astro/VSLEP Digital modulation and includes Motorola Securenet for testing  DES-OFB, DES-XL, DES and AES
High power measurements ( I always recommend and external attenuator for extended higher power meausrements )
Spectrum Analyzer with Tracking GEN
Full signaling capabilities standard as well and the R2670 also comes standard with a high stability OCXO which was optional on other versions.
This is a later R2670B which has  the fully independent Generate and Receive in DUPLEX MODE which can be  use for Cross Band repeater testing.

These units support testing and aligning the latest Motorola and other analog and digital radios and supports the AutoTune and AutoTest software for the Astro and P25 Series radios. ( included on CD )
The FULL Motorola AutoTest Software Suite is included which covers the Astro series -XTS3000, Astro Saber and Astro Mobile  the P25 Series  XTS5000 and XTL Mobile as wel as the Astro Spectra Plus mobile
Units are also used to align the later Motorola APX and DMR based based radios as well

NOTE : anything else pictured is not included and is just shown for demonstration purposes such as radios and duplexers.
A quick note about the R2670 series.   There are a number of versions and configurations of the R2670 .  Most offered for sale are on older firmware with limited capabilities installed like only analog trunking or only early encryption protocols.   Be aware there are a number of units out there that do NOT include the P25 option  or any option beyond what was available in the R2600.  Motorola did sell the R2670 in very stripped configuration that could be upgraded later.
Most have not been fully tested or calibrated and may have serious issues even though they appear to power up correctly.   The power on selftest and calibration routines are very linted in what they actually test and the calibration routine will not report errors even on severely broken units.
Repairs on these units can be  very expensive so be wary of units listed as only power on tests or coming from a working environment.
Most of the sellers have little idea of the capabilities much less how to test,verify  and calibrate.  Some are offering units for sale that list options not physically possible to install together.
