    Description

Up for sale is a fine arrowhead that displays well. It is made from a beautiful cream colored chert. It has incredible flaking and workmanship but may be a reproduction designed to deceive. It does have patina but I am not sure it is authentic. This fine point is approximately
3 5/16" long and 1 3/4" wide. If it is
    authentic, it is
    from the Archaic Archaeological Period
making it between 10,000 to 3,000  years old.
It has fine workmanship and is made from a high quality flint that I think is
    Burlington
chert and displays well.  I don't have any collector history on this point.  T
he chert has a darker spot on the bottom on one side; this is natural and unique coloring of the flint; there is no damage.
I purchased this point at a Martin Auction Co. (Boonville, MO.) auction several years ago.  It displays well!
