    Description

    American Mainsprings Lithographed Tin Container
A tin that once contained a dozen mainsprings for a watchmaker. Mainspring manufacturer was M. Sickles & Sons of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This tin dates from approximately 1890 to 1920. The tin lithographer is not indicated on the tin, but it is in the style and design of those tins manufactured by Somers Brothers or Ginna at about this time.
This tin would be an excellent addition to any watch collection. See more of these mainspring tins in my store
