Description

Up for auction is a very nice vintage MX Race Bike. The engine is fresh and will still need to be broken in before hitting the race track. The bike only has test time on it and as seen in the video below it starts easily and sounds great. All gears shift up & down very nicely, clutch works great as well.
Bike feels like it has a lot of torque and power.
The restoration work was completed prior to our purchasing the bike.
As I did not do the restoration, I did look over the bike to review the workmanship of the restoration, and so I could relay what I know about this amazing MX Race bike. Based on my opinion, this was a very professional restoration resulting in a very nicely restored bike.
Engine and frame numbers match - 980-10-01058. Frame is powder coated as are the wheel hubs. Engine looks like it had been gone through as a part of the restoration. Can see new piston and bore job, it has a new Vape Ignition system. New, upgraded Mikuni carb, ACK intake manifold & new rubber intake mount & boot.
Some of the other new parts - Front & rear tires & tubes - Bridgestone BattleCross, New Excel Rims with new Buchan spokes, Fresh bearings and seals. Hubs were nicely powder coated. New chains, both front & rear sprockets. Custom made roller guide for the chain, air filter, all new cables, grips, kill switch, handlebars.
Rear shocks are Mulholland Boges. Forks were rebuilt with new seals, boots, oil. Looks like the fork tubes may be new. The clutch also looks new and it works as if it is new. The seat is new including the cover, foam and base. New plastics; fenders and number plates. The J & R Silencer on the exhaust pipe is freshly packed, fresh gear oil. The petcocks, fuel & vent hoses are all new. There are some small dents in the bottom of the pipe, nothing major, it appears the silencer was added. Gas tank paint is not perfect, there are flaws, but still shiny and looks presentable; I could not see the need to repaint. No dents or leaks in the tank. It still needs the new top end broken in before hitting the race track and it may or may not need carb jetting adjusted. We have added two videos below; one shows the bike starting and running and the other is a slide show of additional pictures. Overall one very nicely done CZ.
Vintage 48 year old bike being sold as is with no title (bike did not come with title but eBay requires we select a title option). Mileage is unknown as there is no odometer. eBay requires we enter mileage, so we put 1.  No warranty. We do not accept PayPal for bike sales. Bank ACH, wire transfer or direct deposit into our checking account is preferred.
