INTERESTING BUT NOT mention in the book -- While researching this book I learned KYW is one of the oldest U.S. radio stations, originating in Chicago before moving to Cleveland and then Philadelphia.  Walter Wilson, known on the air as "Uncle Bob", was a beloved personalities of KYW's early days reading bedtime stories and singing children's songs from 6:35 to 7:00 each evening.  Illustrator Dick Calkins is best known for being the first artist to draw the Buck Rogers comic strip and he also wrote for the Buck Rogers radio program.
Condition -- Pages are secure with some webbing visible between pages.  Gift inscription on front fly-leaf.  Pages are crisp with very light wear.  Cover has age dirt and darkening (possibly pencil marking) in gutters.  No dust jacket.
No smells.  Non-smoking home.
